Hope wields a boomerang as his weapon, and there is a bit of friction between the fiery tempered character and bandana dude Snow. In the FFXIII, Hope’s mother falls from a ruined bridge.
If you have played the demo like me you will know who the kid is but if not just wait it out till the game comes out.

Summary:

The episode continues with the survivors gathering around the shed, and trying to investigate the crime scene. George then asks if Shannon is wearing a ring, and on which hand. George’s father confirms that Shannon has a ring on her left hand on the fourth finger, and describes that Shannon has a very sad expression on her face. Which contradicts with when George last saw her with a wonderful smile, when he was proposing to her.

The family along with the Butlers then gather around and discusses on who might be the culprit. Maria then bursts out laughing, and triggers her creepy mode, and smiles hysterically like something is about to happen.

Later on Eva – George’s mom gets into a conversation with Battler, about the servants hiding something and they could be working together to steal the family’s fortune. Battler, unsure to make any assumptions, is still eagerly denying the existence of the witch.  He also asks Genji that if there was only one key leading to the shed, after the culprit moved all the bodies to the shed, why would he/she still put the key back in the original place. This bothers Battler and he assumes that the culprit is somebody familiar with the mansion, and there could be a 19th person in the island, but is making it sound like the 19th person is the witch, but it’s not.

Battler joins the servants conversation and wonders where the witch lives. Maria then approaches them, and gets into ultra crazy mode, and tells Battler that the only reason he’s alive is simply because he had the scorpion charm with him. To prove her point wrong, Battler stated that her lost it earlier, and did not have it with him last night. This troubles Maria, and she gets frustrated because Battler is trying to underestimate the power of Beatrice.

Eva, and Natsuhi gets into a big argument on their alibis, on how they would benefit in getting a fortune after all the siblings have died.

After all that argument, the screen then goes to Eva and her husband, in the room. Well, guess what happens, they die too.

I don’t want to go into too much detail, because that part i had to cover my eyes and i panicked to take the photos. AHH!

If you want a clear explanation why Beatrice wants to kill them:

As Battler stated, Beatrice will collect all that Kinzo owned, and as interest too.
Which makes the children, and grandchildren of Kinzo all belonging to Beatrice. So as long as the pot of gold still remains unfound, the interest will be collected …. which means more and more people will die……..

Okay, super short summary.

Claudia shoots Issac,since it was pretty obvious he wanted to kill the Godoh leader
Cal confesses her ” feelings” to Reiji, and they go on with this little talk. Not going to spoil anything.
Reiji cries then opens his heart to Cal, and tells her that he wants to go back home, and he will bring her also. Then it goes to this awkward scene.=x AND CAL slept on the same bed as Reiji too.+_+ erg…

Scythe Master then works with Godoh’s group to destroy Claudia.
Lizzie is then caught, and forced to call Zwei out…..

Eren returns~^_^ soo kwutte!

Overal Rating for this episode: 7/10 Wasn’t absoloutely bad, but not alot of action, and the main event is Cal confessing to Reiji. It’s not like I dislike her, but she seems to be a big obstacle in between Reiji and Elen. As a Elen and Reiji fan i must say i’m pretty annoyed at Cal at this point.

Anticipation for next: 9/10  According to the next episode preview, some exciting stuff is going to happen ^^

Opening Sequence – Ringo Mogire Beam! (林檎もぎれビーム!) by Kenji Ootsuki and Zetsubou Shoujotachi

Summary

Very random storyline but starts off talking about Zetsubou Sensei past then the opening starts. The scene starts in the classroom talking about junk food being bad for your health and they make you do bad in your exams and contains high calories. After it talks about taboo words as well as ill omen words which can affect ur exam such as bad exam number seat, 5 edged pencil which is painful to hold and use.

Scene then moves into a group of people who kidnaps Zetsubou Sensei for having an ill omen name and keeps him locked up until the exams is finished however his loyal and loving students rescue him in all cost even with violence. Once rescued just by changing his name around they realised that Zetsubou Sensei is a good luck charm and they start praying to him like a god figure.

The scene moves to spring where they talk about what spring represents and how you can recognize it by people’s behavior such as salesmen targeting new people moving in to the area, businesses going bust, couples together, couples breaking up and many more.

Scene changes to summer and starts with Zetsubou Sensei looking at a picture with the word misfortune in it which persuaded him to stay home however one of his students somehow comes by trying to chase a floating leaflet. The leaflet is about finding yourself and is a long journey with a group of people where Rin (Zetsubou Sensei Sister) is actually incharge of which. Eventually Zetsubou decides to go on the journey and Episode ends.

Ending Sequence – Zetsubou Restaurant (絶望レストラン) by Zetsubou Shoujotachi

Personal Thought
The opening is quite awful for me, didn’t like it at all compared to the old series. Could of been alot better i reckon however the ending song is very nice and i like it. The first half of the episode was very enjoyable when they talk about the ill omen words, taboo words and kidnapping of Zetsubou Sensei. The Spring part was also good but i found the dancing fat man abit disturbing. The summer scene was also nice with the ending on a cliffhanger i reckon for the next episode. Still i love the famous catchphrase he makes “I’m In Despair” which is always funny.
Will continue watching this hopefully will be more funnier.

Geneon Entertainment released part of the Black Lagoon anime in North America, but Funimation has since agreed to take over distribution of the anime. Summary

Somewhere in Central one night, the Iron Blood Alchemist Basque Gran gets attacked by a man with a scar on his forehead. Gran manages to trap the man inside a metal enclosure by using alchemy, but he gets too close to it and is killed when the man breaks free. Hughes and Armstrong are part of the team that finds Gran’s body afterward, and they’re eventually joined by King Bradley who makes it clear that any rebels must be taken down. Ed and Al meanwhile return to headquarters and tell Mustang about what happened in Lior. They’re interested in the chimera that Cornello created, so Mustang sends them to Shou Tucker, the Sewing-Life Alchemist. Tucker became a State Alchemist after creating a chimera two years ago that understood human speech, however the only thing that chimera said was that it wanted to die. It died shortly thereafter of self-starvation.

At Tucker’s house, Ed gets ambushed by Tucker’s dog Alexander and daughter Nina, and it turns out that Tucker’s wife had left him. Tucker wants to know why Ed and Al interested in transmuting living things, so Ed tells him the story of their past. Tucker decides to give them access to his lab and library, and the two brothers spend the entire day reading. The only break they take is to play with Nina and Alexander, and soon it’s time to go. Jean Havoc comes to pick them up, and before leaving, he reminds Tucker that assessment day is coming up soon. This means that Tucker will have to report the results of his research, and it weighs heavily on him because he already did poorly last year. Failing again this year would mean losing his State Alchemist title.

The next day, Ed and Al learn from Nina that Tucker’s wife left him two years ago. Nina’s loneliness reminds the brothers of the distance they had with their own father, so they opt to play with her some more. Tucker reveals later that life before he took the State Alchemist exam was hard, and his wife couldn’t put up with it, so she left him. He doesn’t want to return to those days ever again, and he offers to play with his daughter, making her quite happy. When Ed and Al arrive the next day, they find that Tucker has successfully created another talking chimera. Ed is at first amazed, but after it calls him onii-chan (brother), he realizes that this chimera is actually a transmutation of Nina and Alexander. What’s more, it now makes sense that Tucker transmuted his wife two years ago in order to pass his exam.

Ed is furious at Tucker, but Tucker tries to defend his actions by claiming that mankind’s advancements come from human experimentation. When Ed tries to lecture him on playing with a person’s life, Tucker points out that Ed once did the same thing. This leads to Ed punching Tucker, and he keeps doing so because Tucker keeps saying that they’re the same. Al eventually stops his brother, and since they can’t do anything for Nina and Alexander, Al apologizes to the chimera that wants to play. The two report back to Mustang, and Mustang thinks that as State Alchemists, there will be times when they have to take lives, so what Tucker did isn’t too different from their position. He feels that, since something like this will likely happen again where Ed will have to get his own hands dirty, Ed can’t let it get to him like this. What frustrates Ed is that he’s just a human who couldn’t even save a single girl.

With Tucker’s house now under guard, Tucker is stuck inside with the chimera form of Nina. He is soon paid a visit, however, by the man with the scar on his forehead who has already killed the guards and is now after him. After killing Tucker, the man observes the crying chimera and decides to kill it as well since it can’t be changed back. As he leaves the house, he says a prayer for the two souls.

Personal Thoughts

So a lot of the basic elements are the same as the first series, but the context of story is quite different. Here, Ed and Al aren’t preparing for the exam anymore and are instead doing research, and that allowed them to keep it all in one episode. Basque Gran also shows up at the beginning and is promptly killed off by Scar, which I guess served as Scar’s introduction. The fact that Tucker is killed by Scar at the end is different as well, but it’s probably for the better since I never really liked Tucker’s character anyway. Overall, they set this episode up to have plenty of emotional impact with everything that Nina says/does after the transmutation and all of Ed’s frustrations, but having seen the original series and knowing what would happen kind of took away some of that away. It might be nostalgia talking, but I remember the first series having more impact. That doesn’t mean though that this episode isn’t worth watching. If nothing else, it’s interesting to see how the manga story was developed differently compared to the first anime, and it looks like next week will have a battle between the Elric brothers and Scar.

Shonen Sunday had promised earlier this month that it will be including a special news announcement about Inuyasha in issue #34. Takahashi had ended the Inuyasha manga in the same magazine last June. She has been serializing a new manga called RIN-NE (Kyōkai no Rinne) in the magazine as well as on TheRumicWorld.com website for North America readers since April 22. Viz Media has been releasing the manga in North America, and it has also released the original 2000-2004 television anime adaptation.
